What have you been doing to get farm ready?

We have developed our regenerative grass farming business - Cattlelyst! We produce and sell beef, however our farming focus is on ecosystem health and growing grass. We are always looking for opportunities to collaborate with other regenerative farmers or discuss lease opportunities.

Why are you passionate about farming?

Producing nutrient-dense food for our community whilst improving the health of local farmlands is what drives us to farm!

Best days of being a farmer:

We love farming in the South-East of Queensland, in our home town of Biggenden. This is where we plan to farm for the long-term, establishing regenerative grazing systems through working with local farmers. On our best days, we spend time with our cattle, observing their natural behaviours as they graze fresh pastures every day. Our dog Angus is with us of course as we set up new paddocks and walk through the pastures.
