What have you been doing to get farm ready?

I have been practicing biodynamic gardening for almost 12 months.

Why are you passionate about farming?

I grew up on a dairy/small crop farm at Wolvi in Queensland. I have been more involved in trying to improve soil health and and look after the planet since seeing how our farming practises has deteriorated our farmland in the last few decades. Since starting using biodynamic practises I have seen a huge improvement in soil health and plant health. I beleive that all gardeners and farmers can play a roll in improving climate change through a better way of farming.

Best days of being a farmer:

A farm of around 2 hectares with good quality water. I would then grow a variety of vegetable using biodynamic methods to supply the local community through farmers markets. It would also include a number of laying hens to supply eggs and breeding meat chickens. I would make my own biodynamic compost to improve the soil. On the best days which I believe is everyday on a farm ,I would continue to apply the methods that will benefit our planet.
