Setting up partnership, identified growing zones, started 12 week Milkwood permaculture course, dug swales, planted berms worth cowpea and banana trees

Why are you passionate about farming?

It offers us an opportunity to work and live close to nature, develop new skills, reduce our carbon footprint, educate our children about the importance of soil quality, be connected to country.

Best days of being a farmer:

We operate Berry Farm (2.4 ha) as a social enterprise, employing 50 people to help us regenerate the country and produce high yielding varieties of fruit, nuts, veges, salad green, edible flowers and eggs that we grow seasonally, harvest daily and sell B2B or B2C to people and markets here and overseas.
