What have you been doing to get farm ready?

We have been Overseing 3 cattle stations in Nth West QLD for over a year. We have also prevoiusly ran and owned our own small boby farm of 65acres and ran our own breeding heard and topped the cattle sale twoce with our heifers. Jade also having studied Vet Nursing has a great understanding of animal husbandary and Bruce living and breathing the land with a common sense and can do attitude makes us a great team.

Why are you passionate about farming?

Being born and raised on the land on cattle stations, it is a huge passion and "At Home" for Jade. Bruces passion is more for the land and the work involved, his passion is being outdors and loves to imprive things and make thiings work better. Our passion for the land also comes with having two young boys and bringing them up on the land and hving the lifestyle for them that we know is the best lifestyle there is.

Best days of being a farmer:

Our dream would ideally be a cattle station/Farm anywhere in Nth/Nth West Qld. We are both born and raised in Nth QLd and love the country and the people and love where we come from. Just being together and having our children with us will always be the best part. Being able to own something that you work hard for and having our dream come true that we have our own litte place would be a dream come true for us, trying to get into the market these days without having it handed down to you is extremely hard. Land is so precious as you cannot make land so getting a piece of yours to work and run as a fmaily woudl be the most cherrished thing for our family to work towards.
