What have you been doing to get farm ready?

We are currently involved in Oyster Farming but would love to get back into the land farming industry. We are constantly thinking about different ways we could get involved and keeping up with the latest farming trends. We enjoy keeping a watch on what is happening in both local and national farming.

Why are you passionate about farming?

Growing up in the farming industry we grew to love the lifestyle and now that we have kids we are keen to get back in amongst it and start farming again. We both have passion for livestock and enjoy the processes of growing and harvesting our own fruit and vegetables.

Best days of being a farmer:

We would both Love to have a large farm that combines livestock/poultry and Orchards. We would be able to have free range chickens or ducks feeding below our fruit trees and spend the days with our children showing them how to maintain the orchard and ensure the chickens are happy as they grow. We would also like to open our farm up to the public to help educate and excite people about the farming industry and the different possibilities that come with it.
