What have you been doing to get farm ready?

Building a herd of Stud Cattle to have a readymade stream of income so we can hit the ground running once we find a suitable property. Preparing a budget based on proposed expenses and income from a potential property to assure ourselves and a farm owner/investor that we can comfortably service our debt with the enterprise we currently have and wish to continue. Building a client base for our stud cattle market that we can continue and expand on wherever we find a farm.

Why are you passionate about farming?

Have grown up on a farm and love working in the great outdoors. Enjoy and take great pride in breeding livestock and growing pasture/crops. Love to produce clean and fresh food in sustainable and ethical way.

Best days of being a farmer:

Our dream farm would be in North East Victoria in a higher rainfall cattle area with a creek or river running through the property with access or potential for a small amount of irrigation land but not essential. We would run a beef cattle stud conducting an on farm bull sale each year. On the best days we would be working with the cattle and shifting them to a fresh new paddock of green grass and admiring the country side.
