What have you been doing to get farm ready?

I left my career as a Computer/IT Consultant 5 years ago and moved to the country after obtaining a harvest job. After harvest was over I was fortunate enough to obtain a full time farm hand position on another farm in the area. Here I learnt many things about broard acre cropping. At the same time I have been learning with my own small holding (100 arable acres) as well as obtaining some machinery and implements (scarifier, plough, seeders etc).

Why are you passionate about farming?

I love being outdoors and working the land.

Best days of being a farmer:

Ideally I would love to obtain some more land in the same area my small holding is. This would allow me to add sheep as well as have a few different crops growing. My days would be then filled with keeping an eye on the sheep, as well as maintaining and improving machinery when not seeding and harvesting.
