What have you been doing to get farm ready?

To become farm ready we are keeping up to date with the latest news on the technology front and reading up on how to be successful on the farm. We have also made the sacrifice to work away from home to be able to follow our dreams of owning our own property.

Why are you passionate about farming?

It is not, I or me, it’s we. Our passion about farming originates from growing up on our family farms, working on them and the lifestyle that they are able to provide us with. The ability to wake up in the morning and be surrounded by the land, our loved ones and being able to work together on something that we both have a desire for is why we are passionate about farming.

Best days of being a farmer:

Our dream is to live close to our family, somewhere not too far away from the riverina. Here, we would like to farm crops that are suitable for the time of year and grow our own stock, whether this be cattle or sheep(feedlot). The best part would be waking up everyday and being able to take each day as it comes, developing our opportunities to grow and explore. The best part would be that we are able to work together on this and be able to share the success with our family and give our children the best possible experience when growing up.
